Summer is officially here! And with that comes summer weddings, pool days, vacations, swim lessons, festivals, but you can’t forget about the dads! Father’s Day is less than two weeks away, and it’s time to start shopping.
I know I’m not alone when I say men are the most difficult to shop for. I LOVE gift giving, but I typically dread shopping for the men in my life. It’s such a challenging task! They always say they don’t want anything or there’s nothing they need. Boo, that’s no fun! Whether you’re shopping for your husband, dad, brother, father-in-law, son – these are some great items that any guy is sure to love! I even got Ryan to weigh in on this gift guide, so these are all man-approved.
Dress Shirts | Whether they need a new dress shirt to wear at the office or at your next event, check out Mizzen + Main, a men’s retailer that makes dress shirts out of performance fabric. They are breathable, don’t wrinkle or need to be dry cleaned, and are machine washable. Guys will love them for their comfortability, and ladies, you will love them for their low maintenance!
Dri-Fit Hat | This is the most universal hat! It can be worn working out, doing yard work, at the pool, running errands, golfing, on the beach or in the boat. The list goes on and on! The Dri-Fit fabric absorbs sweat to keep you dry from sweat and is super breathable. Ryan wears his every time he works out.
Framed Picture | A more custom and personal option for Father’s Day is a picture frame. You can frame a picture of you and him together for his night stand, a piece of artwork made by the kiddos for his office, or his favorite sports photo for his mancave. I typically buy my picture frames from Michael’s, Hobby Lobby, or Target. This is a quick, easy, and affordable gift!
Belt | Belts are a necessity in a man’s wardrobe. I gifted Ryan this Perlis brown leather belt for his college graduation five years ago, and he wears it every day! It is the perfect brown belt that will go with all of their jeans, khakis, and shorts. I love the gold crawfish emblem on the front. It dresses it up and makes it more unique than just a normal brown leather belt.
Wireless Earphones | It seems like everyone and their grandma has wireless headphones these days so it can be hard to decide on the right pair for the dad in your life. Ryan introduced me to these new Raycon Wireless Earphones that guarantee to never fall out of your ears, have a long battery life, superior sound quality, and are half the price as Apple AirPods.
Underwear | In my experience, boys never seem to buy stuff they actually need, like underwear! This may seem like a small gift, but I promise they will be grateful for it. Whether your man is a classic briefs, boxers, or boxer briefs kind of guy, Good Fellow is a great, affordable and comfortable brand. They come in your standard underwear colors, but they also have fun prints, as well!
Skincare Kit | Ladies, we all know the lengths we go to for great skin, not to mention the money we spend on skincare products. Yet the men in our lives typically wash their hair, body, and face with their shampoo. Like WHAT?!? Treat your man to an effective and easy skincare routine for Father’s Day. Tiege Hanley is Ryan’s go-to for skincare. I know men don’t like complicated things so this is the perfect routine for them. The kits come with step-by-step instructions on how and when to apply the products, along with pictures of how much product they should use. It doesn’t get any better than that! Use code FULLOFHEART at checkout or click HERE to shop, and receive 20% off your purchase.
Ice Chest | I’ve never met a dad, let alone a guy, that didn’t own an ice chest. Give them an upgrade this Father’s Day with either a YETI or the Coolest Cooler. These are definitely investment ice chests as they are on the pricier side but are definitely worth it! A more affordable option, but just as effective, is a Coleman Cooler.
BBQ Tools | My dad and father-in-law love to grill so I know this would be the perfect gift for them! Whether your dad is an all-star griller or is just starting out, this is a great tool set that has 13 pieces.
Slippers | You can never go wrong with a pair of slippers! Guys wear Uggs, too and this is a great pair of slippers. If your dad likes more of an actual shoe as a slipper that he can get more wear outside, then try these moccasins. I would go up a size in slippers for men because they typically run a little small and it helps to make them extra cozy.
